The company has notably assisted a leading fintech company in the region by increasing self-serve collections through personalised communications via various channels, payment plans, and scoring-based discounts.
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Business Lead to spearhead the establishment of a groundbreaking venture in the debt collection industry - Eltezam. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and executing the strategic vision, overseeing product-tech initiatives and business development. This exceptional opportunity is ideal for an entrepreneurial-minded professional with a proven track record in startup leadership, product management, and operational setup and control.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 6+ years of experience managing projects within a startup environment (​​preferably in financial technology or debt collection sector).
  • Strong understanding of the GCC market, regulatory landscape, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills with the adoption of the data-driven approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop a comprehensive business plan outlining short-term and long-term goals, partnerships strategy and financial planning.
  • Compliance, Regulation and Licensing: Ensure that Eltezam operates in full compliance with industry regulations and standards; support with new license issuance. 
  • Operational Setup: Oversee operational processes; work on improvement and optimisation, meeting clients’ requirements.
  • Product management: Prioritise various product initiatives, monitor the performance of the product team, highlight the gaps and suggest improvements.
