Summary of Position:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) primary responsibility is to lead the business development strategy focusing on expanding our customer business and looking for new growth opportunities. This work includes strategic account planning, account development, relationship management, and performance management.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain the current client relationships and identifying potential new clients
  • Responsible for contacting potential customers to develop relationships and sales to increase client base.
  • Research trends and create new opportunities to increase company growth
  • Collaborate with sales and account teams to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals
  • Maintain a strong understanding of products and services, and innovating new ways to serve businesses
  • Identify and map business strengths and customer needs.
  • Arrange business development meetings with prospective clients
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Responsible for developing a quarterly compensation incentive for Denali’s sales organization based on the sale of specified products

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs.  Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.  The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.  The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.  Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine, and printer.  Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.

Required Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience      
  • 4+ years of experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or foreign equivalent in Business Management or related field, In lieu of degree 4+ years of relevant business development experience
  • IT product certifications a plus
  • Demonstrated Customer Relationship Skills
  • IT Product business development experience
  • IT OEM Certifications
  • Experience in Mobile technology use cases/solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in successfully developing and managing partner relationships
  • Demonstrated partner and customer relationship skills
  • Efficient at writing business proposals and presenting to executive teams
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)

  • Have in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
