Business Architect – AI Business Solutions - Perm
 

This role will be to work as part of the AI Business Solutions group and join our fast-paced, high-energy team responsible for transforming the way Chubb operates globally and deliver meaningful business impact across the value chain. 

This position offers the opportunity to leverage the entire spectrum of digital capabilities towards solving a wide variety of business problems as well as unique challenges in problem-solving. The focus is on applying a combination of industry-standard practices and innovative ideas to transform the way Chubb operates fundamentally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders from business, operations, and technology teams to analyse current workflows, and to develop net-new solutions.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business, and solution architects to design target state processes and user journeys enabled by a spectrum of AI capabilities.
  • Document business requirements, epics, and user stories in alignment with the product vision and roadmap. 
  • Coordinate with business users to publish and sign off on the business requirements, manage and prioritize changes based on the business need.
  • Create presentations, research reports to highlight the key insights to be presented to the stakeholders, allowing them to make informed decisions.
  • Create and review test cases, and coordinate with business stakeholders, end users for user acceptance.
  • Support throughout the development lifecycle from project inception to user acceptance and deployment.  Partner with the business users to ensure the developed solutions are fully aligned with the business needs.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects in terms of scope, timelines and ensuring that the functionality meets the business expectations.
  • Sound understanding of the emerging technologies and its impact on the Insurance lifecycle.

Skills Required

  • Deep expertise in Property and Casualty Products, Accident and Health Products or Personal Lines Products 
  • Strong Insurance domain knowledge with other core insurance functions such as claims, marketing, distribution, legal and operations.
  • Understanding of Insurance sales and distribution for Consumer line of products and any experience in telemarketing domain is desirable.
  • Industry certifications such as ACII, FCII, CIP, CPCU preferred.
  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science), Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Creative thinker with proven skills in conceptualizing new product features, define product roadmaps, develop business cases and proposals for solutions built on digital technologies.
  • Ability to work with cross functional global and local teams for the various projects across multiple time zones as and when required.
  • Ability to deliver efficient and creative solutions in an incredibly fast paced environment with limited resources and minimal supervision.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have an awareness of suitable KPIS associated with large scale projects .
  • The ability to prioritise and manage workloads within tight timescales and budgetary constraints;
  • An eye for detail, excellent communication skills and be able to interrogate reported information and challenge sources where inconsistencies are found.
