Job Summary:
This position is responsible for developing and executing channel marketing strategies to drive business growth, increase brand awareness, and enhance customer engagement. This involves overseeing all marketing activities, managing a team, and collaborating with various departments to achieve organizational objectives. You will shape the company's image, market presence, and customer relationships in this role.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze data and market insights to make informed decisions and refine marketing strategies.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Delegate tasks, set clear goals, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment to encourage innovation and productivity.
Campaign Development and Execution:
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, and events.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling marketing materials and content.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
Brand Management:
- Develop and maintain the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
- Manage brand positioning, messaging, and visual elements to create a strong brand presence.
- Oversee the creation of marketing collateral and ensure it aligns with the brand guidelines.
Market Expansion and Partnerships:
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company's reach and customer base.
- Cultivate partnerships and collaborations with other businesses, influencers, and organizations to enhance brand visibility.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with marketing vendors, agencies, and partners.
Budget Management:
- Develop marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to achieve marketing goals.
- Monitor expenditures, analyze ROI, and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize budget utilization.
- Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts related to marketing expenses.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize marketing analytics tools to track and analyze campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Prepare detailed reports, including KPIs and actionable insights, to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights to make strategic marketing decisions and improvements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Required Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:
- Familiarity and experience with B2B omni-channel marketing tactics (e.g. social media, digital advertising, website, email marketing, content marketing, PR, and events)
- Familiarity with standard business and marketing software platforms, such as HubSpot, Drupal CMS, Marketo, and Salesforce.
- Excellent communication skills, very articulate, strong public speaking and writing skills, interpersonal skills, cross functional skills, and ability to work well within a team.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, ability to prioritize, and solid financial acumen.
- Successful candidate will be a very motivated self-starter and able to work without daily guidance.
- Experience in a startup or similar fast-paced environment where there is frequent change.
Education/Experience:
- 8-10 years of total marketing experience.
- 5+ years of experience in brand management and/or marketing management positions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
