Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic AWS Services Practice Leader, focused on Data and AI (Artificial Intelligence), to join our global cloud services team. This role is pivotal in leading our go-to-market strategy and building a consistent global delivery framework for AWS Data & AI services. The ideal candidate will work closely with AWS global teams to ensure alignment with AWS practices and services and will collaborate with cloud services leaders, sales teams, and partners across various countries to drive business growth and ensure seamless delivery of our AWS data and AI solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Framework Development and Implementation:

  • Design and implement a consistent framework for delivering AWS Data and AI services globally.
  • Develop pricing models, delivery methodologies, and tools to ensure standardization and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with country teams to adopt and adhere to the established framework, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure cohesive delivery of services across regions, maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Foster strong relationships with AWS global teams to ensure alignment with AWS practices and services.
  • Work closely with cloud services leaders, sales teams, and partners in different countries.
  • Provide guidance and support to country teams, helping them understand and drive the AWS Data and AI business.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across regions to enhance service delivery and business outcomes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on AWS Data and AI, providing insights and thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with thought leaders within Ingram Micro to ensure continued success and to help identify areas of potential growth.

Go-to-Market Leadership:

  • Develop and lead the go-to-market strategy for AWS Data and AI services.
  • Understand vendor offerings and programs, leveraging them to build comprehensive solutions, bundles, and service collaterals.
  • Work closely with country sales and services leaders to tailor and implement go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
  • Create and drive campaigns to promote services to partners and end customers.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud services, with a focus on AWS Data and AI workloads.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading AWS practices and services.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, tools, and best practices for data and AI, including but not limited to: AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, AWS RDS (Relational Database Service), AWS Athena, AWS SageMaker, AWS Lambda, AWS Kinesis, AWS QuickSight, AWS Machine Learning Services (Bedrock, Polly, Transcribe etc).
  • Solid understanding of AWS programs related to Data and AI.
  • Experience in building and implementing standardized frameworks and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (both verbal and written), and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • AWS Pro/Specialty Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty) preferred.
  • Industry-leading knowledge of the chosen subject matter.
  • A flexible approach to work and willingness to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations.
  • Applies knowledge and skills to handle complex problems beyond own area of expertise.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • English language proficiency required.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $105,500.00 - $179,400.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
