To take our customer experience from best to obsessed, this role will drive the delivery of consistently outstanding customer and employee experiences through AI for Optus. The role will accountable for an AI product portfolio and strategy to help us be intentional in our investments, create opportunity for great customer experiences and maximise profitability. . You will work across a fast-paced agile environment and collaborate with the many stakeholders to deploy and scale AI. Your leadership will be crucial in advancing our products from proof of concept to fully integrated, mature solutions, reinforcing Optus’ market position.
Your day in the life of an Associate Director AI Product Management:
Contribute to the AI strategy for Optus, to meet the company 3 yr strategy
Lead cross-functional teams to develop AI & digital product porfolio from ideation, to incubation and scale and operate in an agile framework
Accountable for portfolio’s quarterly business review and prioritisation to meet AOP
Accountable for liasing with commercial and benefit realisation stakeholders to ensure materialisation and harvest of benefits
Apply high-level business reasoning to drive strategic decisions
Manage product sizing and ensure appropriate resource allocation
Perform comprehensive market analysis to uncover market gaps and growth opportunities, leveraging market data and customer feedback to guide product positioning and enhancements
Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout product development and go-to-market processes while overseeing end-to-end delivery of initiatives
Identify and mitigate risks in product development, market changes, and regulatory requirements to minimise disruptions to the product portfolio
Set KPIs to measure product portfolio success, and regularly analyse data to track performance and identify improvements
Your skills:
Proven results in going to market with digital products and features
Experience in leading cross-functional teams
Demonstrate strong commercial foresight and acumen
Building strategic alignment with stakeholders and partner on change
Strong background in digital and technology
Expertise in modern web and API architecture, design for cloud, and containers
Demonstrable experience in building scalable systems or ideas
AI experience is great but not essential – curiosity and perserverance trump
