What you will learn and contribute to

The objective of the internship is to optimize and implement supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms on network traffic to analyze different types of cyber-attacks on various protocols and for both control-plane (header) and user-plane (payload) traffic. The intern will use network traffic datasets.

  • 2nd year Master of Science in computer science, applied mathematics or related fields.
  • Practical experience on Python programming for data science.
  • Practical experience on supervised (Random Forest) and unsupervised (DBSCAN, AutoEncoders) algorithms. 
  • Knowledge of mobile network traffic protocols. 
  • Knowledge of security and cyber-attacks. 
  • Data visualization skills.
