As an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) Model Business Case – Senior Associate in the Data & Analytics Finance & Business Management Team, you will be responsible for delivering business cases against a broad range of models. You will also be involved with producing executive reporting on the status of use case models and their corresponding value, and advising the line of business Chief Financial Officers on how to increase profitability and efficiencies. You will interact regularly with the Model Owners, Business Contacts, the line of business Chief Financial Officers and peers across Finance & Business Management and the business.

For this role, candidates must be able to physically work in our Columbus, OH offices 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create financial business cases supporting business initiatives specific to AI/ML models and analytical tools
  • Calculate NPV (net present value) and PTI (pre-tax income) based on model benefits offset by corresponding costs
  • Produce executive summaries for each model
  • Help design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management
  • Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature
  • 4+ years of work experience
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
  • Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Work experience in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller background
