AI Solutions Architect

Key Role:

Design and implement effective AI solution architecture and strategy, using approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with company strategies, business goals, and key ethical considerations. Apply advanced consulting, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with data or solutions architecture, machine learning engineering, data engineering, DevOps, or software engineering

  • Experience with supporting Cloud platform infrastructure, including on AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Knowledge of database management concepts, storage, query, and retrieval methods

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and programming languages to perform analysis

  • Ability to gather requirements from customers and lead Agile teams

  • Ability to achieve on-time and on-budget delivery

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with integrating DevSecOps practices and principles throughout the project life cycle

  • Experience with integrating AI and ML capabilities into software architecture design

  • Experience with the application of Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision for intelligence use cases

  • Experience with AI and ML tools and frameworks, including TensorFlow or PyTorch

  • Experience with AI concepts and tooling to support deep learning, machine learning, signal processing, and natural language processing

  • Experience with producing technical documentation and designs 

  • Experience with project management, client relationship building, and executive communication capabilities

  • Knowledge of Department of Defense AI and ML policies and practices pertaining to big data and analytics

  • Knowledge of the DoD, Intelligence Community, and the Intelligence Cycle

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
