AI Autonomy Solution Architect

The Opportunity:

At a certain point, experience-based system design can start to look like clairvoyance. When you’ve developed so many systems that you can not only orchestrate the best solution for any technology-based challenge, but you can also anticipate and preempt future issues, you’re a solutions architect. You’ve evolved your skills into strategy through a long path of software development accomplishments and the curiosity to understand how all the pieces of an IT ecosystem fit together. Are you ready to use your combination of knowledge, skill, and experience to take on the toughest challenges in the rapidly emerging areas of artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous systems for national security applications?

As an AI Solution Architect on our team, you'll translate your customer’s technology needs and future goals into a plan by crafting requirements, architecture products, design specifications, statements of work, presentations, proposals, and white papers. This role will serve as a key technical expert, advisor, and leader with a wide range of responsibilities. These include customer engagement and business development, where you’ll act as a technical liaison with customers, understanding their needs and translating them into actionable technical requirements. You’ll also cultivate and manage relationships with key technology partners, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. In the area of technical strategy and solutioning, you’ll lead the development of technical solutions and architectures to address customer requirements, market trends, and business objectives. In addition, you’ll contribute to proposals and white papers, showcasing the company's capabilities and value proposition, and provide guidance to engineering teams, ensuring the successful implementation of solutions. Support to market analysis and strategy will inform innovation efforts and aid opportunity capture efforts, while facilitating effective communication of technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership and clients rounds out the role.

And what do you do next in a career where you’ve reached this level? You mentor the next set of developers to help them grow into tomorrow’s solutions architects. As a technical leader, you’ll shape digital solutions and identify opportunities for growth.

Through your leadership, we’ll help transform the way defense and intelligence organizations use technology, including extending human reach, operating persistently in hazardous environments, and reacting with speed and precision that exceeds human capacity. Our technology solutions will reduce the cognitive load on operators, allowing them to focus on complex decision-making while ensuring reliability, predictability, and ethical response. Challenges we’ll meet include mitigating opacity in AI decision-making, ensuring cybersecurity, and establishing clear guidelines crucial for building trust and ensuring responsible development and deployment.
