Why this role?
We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Enterprise Account Executive to join our team and take on a crucial role in driving Cohere's growth. In this role, you will have the opportunity to own the full sales cycle, from lead identification to deal closure, for a range of enterprise-level clients.
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be the face of Cohere to your clients, building strong relationships and tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs. You'll collaborate closely with channel partners to expand our outreach and ensure customer satisfaction. Working in partnership with our Solutions Architect, Product and Engineering teams, you'll play a strategic role in delivering solutions to our enterprise customers, and you'll team up with our Sales Development team to drive activity and results.
This role offers a high degree of autonomy and the chance to make a significant impact on our company's success. We're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, unstructured environment and is excited to take on the challenge of helping us reach our full potential.

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will:

  • Balance your time between net-new logo acquisition and expanding adoption within existing customer accounts by identifying and targeting key stakeholders and building strong relationships.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to your clients, deeply understanding their challenges and goals, and tailor Cohere's solutions to drive measurable business impact.
  • Collaborate closely with channel partners to scale your outreach and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Work hand-in-hand with our Solutions Architect, Product and Engineering teams to deliver strategic solutions that meet the unique needs of our enterprise customers.
  • Team up with our Sales Development team to drive top-of-funnel activity and qualify incoming leads.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from initial contact to proof-of-concept and ultimately, deal closure.

You may be a good fit if you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B solution sales, with a proven track record of managing full-cycle sales motions and exceeding quotas with Enterprise accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and closing complex SaaS deals in the range of six-figure ARR and seven-figure TCV.
  • A background in selling technical products, such as developer tools, API products, or AI/NLP solutions is preferred.
  • Skill in working with channel partners to drive sales cycles and achieve shared revenue targets.
  • The ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, with a proactive and strategic mindset.
  • A curious mind, eager to dive deep into NLP and become an expert in our cutting-edge technology.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, speak to diverse audiences, and influence decision-makers.
